Compara is an intuitive interactive and searchable index that visualizes the attributes of software from a wide-range of applications and technologies.
A taxonomy spreadsheet is exported to comma seperated values (csv) and converted to the JSON file format.
As the spreadsheet maintains a growing hierarchy, we are inspired by use of the to maintain the original hierarchy.
The provided the simplest and most user-friendly way to have users quickly see the users and tasks associated with said software.
The result of the research led to the making of a tree-diagram/bipartite graph.
What is VIZLAND? VIZLAND (the VisualIZation LANDscape): aspires to map a multitude of libraries that define data visualization types, their functions, their representational form, shapes, analytic capabilities, and descriptions, and making them queryable through a web interface.
